Pokemon Sun Gold is Quan Giang's expansion of Drayano's Sacred Gold — itself one of the most beloved HGSS hacks ever made. Building on that already excellent foundation, Sun Gold adds the Fairy type with a fully updated type chart, new moves from later generations, new attacks invented by the creator, changes to Pokémon stats and typings for better balance, and a revised type match-up system.
