About Pokémon Unknown

Pokémon Unknown is the smartest randomizer hack available for GBA. Instead of dumping random Pokémon into every route without logic, it uses a thematic randomization system that respects the game's internal rules — you'll never encounter a fully evolved Pokémon on Route 1, fish up a Fire-type, or find a Legendary in the early game. The result is a randomizer that feels natural and fair while still being unpredictable and fresh every run.

Frequently Asked Questions — Pokémon Unknown

Is Pokémon Unknown a randomizer?

Yes, but a smart one. It uses thematic randomization that respects game logic — no fully evolved Pokémon on early routes, no water-types caught via fire, and no Legendaries in the early game. It's far more balanced than a typical randomizer.

How many Pokémon are in Pokémon Unknown?

905 Pokémon are available including Hisuian forms, 72 Mega Evolutions, and more.

Does Pokémon Unknown have Nuzlocke mode?

Yes! Built-in Nuzlocke modes are included, along with achievements, an endgame system, and a min-grinding mode.

How replayable is Pokémon Unknown?

Very replayable. The thematic randomization means every new playthrough has a different roster of Pokémon across all routes, trainers, and gifts, giving the game enormous variety.
