The Extreme Randomizer for Pokémon Crystal adds fully randomized typings, evolutions, and move pools on top of Crystal's already feature-rich base. The Battle Tower — where opponents bring their best teams — becomes a true wildcard when their Pokémon have unexpected typings and scrambled movesets. Crystal's Suicune storyline plays out with extreme-randomized legendary encounters and abilities.

Crystal's Battle Tower is the most demanding post-game content in Gen 2, and extreme mode turns its opponents into completely unreadable adversaries — their Pokémon have scrambled typings, random movesets, and nothing behaves as expected. Suicune, the legendary at the center of Crystal's story, has an extreme-randomized type identity when you finally face it.
