Pokémon Platinum

Pokémon Platinum is the enhanced Sinnoh experience — Distortion World, Giratina's Origin Forme, a revamped Battle Frontier, and a wider Pokédex accessible from the start. This randomizer takes Platinum's expanded accessibility and reshuffles all 493 encounters on top of it. The best Sinnoh base for a normal randomizer run by a wide margin.

Platinum's expanded early-game Pokédex access — more Pokémon available before the first gym than in Diamond or Pearl — directly benefits randomized playthroughs by deepening the available pool from the very start. The Distortion World encounter with Giratina still occurs, but with a Giratina whose level and movepool reflect the randomized run.
