Pokémon Fire Red

Pokémon Fire Red is the modernized Kanto remake with the Gen 3 engine, updated movepools, abilities, and the Sevii Islands post-game. This randomizer reshuffles all 386 Gen 3 Pokémon across Kanto and the Sevii Islands — so Pokémon normally gated until post-game can appear on Route 1. The updated battle system makes this a sharper randomizer experience than the original GBC games.

Fire Red's expanded 386-Pokémon pool — rather than the original 151 — gives this Kanto randomizer far more variety than the GBC versions. The Sevii Islands post-game adds territory beyond the standard eight gyms, with extra routes and trainers that extend the randomized run well past the Elite Four.
