Pokémon Crystal Dust

Pokémon Crystal Dust is a faithful recreation of Pokémon Crystal rebuilt on the FireRed GBA engine with updated graphics, GBA controls, and Gen 3 mechanics. This randomized version applies full encounter randomization to the Johto and Kanto regions while preserving Crystal Dust's polished GBA presentation. Crystal's 16-badge journey reimagined with modern GBA controls and a fully randomized Pokémon roster.

Crystal Dust's GBA engine handles encounter randomization cleanly with Gen 3 mechanics — abilities, updated movepools, and the physical/special split all apply to randomized Pokémon in Crystal's Johto. This makes Crystal Dust a smoother randomizer experience than native GBC Crystal while keeping the 16-badge dual-region structure intact.
