Pokémon Rescue Rangers

Pokémon Rescue Rangers is a Ruby hack by destinedjagold where you manage a Pokémon rescue service, taking on missions to save Pokémon in danger across a region built around that premise. This randomized version shuffles all encounter tables and mission Pokémon while the rescue service storyline stays intact. Three seeds give you different Pokémon appearing throughout the rescue missions and trainer battles.

Rescue Rangers' mission-based structure gives each randomized seed a distinct flavor — the Pokémon you're tasked with rescuing and the enemies you encounter on each mission change across seeds. The hub-and-mission format breaks from standard linear Pokémon progression in a way that works particularly well with randomization.
